Meet Our Director

Hey, I’m Heather!

I’m beyond thrilled that you took the time to explore our website! Now that you’re here, let me tell you a little about myself. I am a proud Northland Pines graduate. After high school, I went on to get my Bachelors degree in Exceptional education with a minor in environmental education from UW Stevens Point in 2008.  Later, I went on to also earn an Associates degree in Early childhood education and an Administrators Credential post graduation from Nicolet College. In 2017 I then became the proud owner and director of Little Acorns.

As you can see here, I have two young children (Eliana and Marek) and a significant other (Jeremy).  When not working we enjoy being outdoors as much as possible and spending time with our family that lives in the area (grandma, grandpas, uncles, aunts, etc).   We enjoy spending time on the water on our boat (wakeboarding, surfing, and swimming) in the summer.  We also enjoy camping, having campfires, biking, and exploring new parts of the country.  Two of our favorite destinations are Florida (to sneak in visits with grandma) and Colorado and the west.  In the winter we enjoy snowmobiling, snowboarding, and sledding.  When I am trying to have quiet/”me” time I enjoy reading, chatting with my mom, and gardening.
